I’m Alexandra Nichelle Elliott, founder of NICHE Boutique.

In November 2020, I took a leap of faith into solopreneurship and the world of online retail. After eight years working in the fast-paced and competitive fashion industry, I had a deep appreciation for standout merchandising, meaningful storytelling, and most importantly building genuine relationships with customers.

Like so many others, the pandemic slowed life down and gave me space to reconnect with myself. I rediscovered my creativity, my love of learning, and reflected on what truly brings me joy. Creativity has always been at the core of who I am. I grew up in an entrepreneurial and artistic home, surrounded by colour, texture, form, and beauty - elements that made me feel alive and became the language through which I expressed myself.

After graduating from OCAD University, I found that my full-time career left little time or energy to nurture my art, and over time, I lost touch with my creative joy. With the encouragement and unwavering support of my partner and family, I courageously chose to embrace my creativity fully and bring all of my skills together in one place.

And so, NICHE Boutique was born!
